Public Area ExhibitCelebrate our "Unearth a Story" summer event by creating a tiny masterpiece! Pick up a 4x4 canvas and bring a tale to life, whether it’s a historical milestone, a local memory, or a spark from your imagination. Small canvas, big creativity.
Important Dates:
Pick Up 4x4 Canvas June 1 through June 15, 2026
Art Work Due June 15, 2026
Display and Voting June 17 through July 11, 2026
1st through 3rd Place Winners Selected July 15, 2026
Directions for Art:
Eligibility Open to all ages and abilities
Process Pick up a 4x4 canvas at the library and take it home to create
Theme Unearth a Story from 250 years. This could be a historical moment, a hometown memory, or a story you imagine
Materials Use any materials including paint, markers, collage, or mixed media
Requirements Artwork must be original, dry, and ready to display
Labeling Label your piece with your name and age
