The staff of the Upper Chesapeake Mobile Van work to promote wellness by sharing information on health topics, as well as making a range of preventative screenings accessible to the community. This month’s focus is on Vision care and how low vision can negatively impact your health and safety. Testing for blood pressure, sleep disorder, body composition analysis, diabetes, and stroke are available free of charge. There is a nominal fee of $10 for Cholesterol and A1C checks. The Jarrettsville Library is located near the intersection of Routes 165 and 23. In addition to a meeting room, we have a spacious, natural light-filled reading area in which visitors may read or connect their devices to WIFI.
