Harford County Public Library launches its Game Changers Business Speakers Series, with Dr. Anirban Basu, chairman & CEO of the Sage Policy Group, Inc. Dr. Basu will speak on “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly,” providing an in-depth analysis of major factors shaping economic outcomes, including interest rates, global conflict, wage dynamics, business confidence, and demographics. He will also forecast for the coming year, providing valuable insights for economic stakeholders. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program from 9 to 10 a.m. Ticket cost is $75 per person and includes a continental breakfast. This series is sponsored by The Kelly Group.

Genealogy can be a lifelong project that begins with YOU. This program will show where and how to begin, and will include an introduction to all of the library's online resources for this undertaking.

The Wheelchair Costume Workshop is a free event for kids to transform their wheelchairs into their dream costumes! Our volunteers will work hand in hand with the kids to bring their costume ideas to life. The only requirements are that they must rely on a wheelchair as their primary mode of mobility, can attend the costume measuring session at the Abingdon Library on Saturday, September 14th, and the costume fitting and trunk or treat event at The EPICENTER at Edgewood on Saturday, October 5th.
