Skip to main contentEach 45-minute program will include a reading with Buttons the Shetland Pony of her very first children’s book, called “Buttons Has Her Day.” Attendees will get a chance to learn about horses and ponies that participate in Adaptive Riding Lessons and Equine Therapy. This program takes participants through guided ground-based activities that may intrinsically motivate learners. There is no riding involved. Through this innovative approach to learning, participants have fun and are learning at the same time. This equine experience is designed to be inspiring and interactive as well as educational. Supported by the Norrisville Friends of HCPL. Each child attending must register prior to the program.
