The Trials and Triumphs: A History of the African American Experience in Harford County exhibit chronicles the experiences of African Americans in County history from the earliest days through the twenty-first century and includes objects and stories that explore a sweep of experiences from slavery and segregation to community advancement and achievement. Funded through a grant from the Harford County Government, the project is a partnership between the Hosanna School Museum (HSM) and the Historical Society of Harford County, Inc. (HSHC). The exhibit will run February 15 - March 21.

The Abingdon Library is home to HCPL's Innovation Lab and Children's Sensory Room. It is located in close proximity to the I-95 corridor and offers a meeting room as well as two smaller conference rooms.
