Meeting RoomView the film "Top Secret Rosies: The Female Computers of WWII" followed by a virtual conversation with documentary filmmaker LeAnn Erickson about Rosie the Riveter’s STEM sisters.
In 1942, when computers were human and women were underestimated, a group of female mathematicians were recruited to complete secret research for the U.S. Army. The film "Top Secret Rosies: The Female Computers of WWII" shares the story of the remarkable women who ushered in the computer age and changed the way the world works.
