The staff of the Upper Chesapeake Mobile Van work to promote wellness by sharing information on health topics, as well as making a range of preventative screenings accessible to the community. Flu vaccines for ages 6-64 are $20; if you are 65 and do not have Medicare Part B the cost is $60; straight Medicare will be billed. Testing for blood pressure, sleep disorder, body composition analysis, diabetes, and stroke are available free of charge. There is a nominal fee of $10 for Cholesterol and A1C checks. The Jarrettsville Library is located near the intersection of Routes 165 and 23. In addition to a meeting room, we have a spacious, natural light-filled reading area in which visitors may read or connect their devices to WIFI.
